THE BIGGER PICTURE
A connected view of a campus that never quite closes.
Universities combine open public spaces with teaching, residential, research, and event environments. BlackSight is being designed to help campus teams investigate across those boundaries while retaining clear permissions for each building, department, and incident reviewer.
WHERE VIDEO BECOMES USEFUL
Built around your day.
Real-time monitoring, alerts, and incident review. Planned around the needs of your site.
Follow a reported incident
Review the available sequence across building entrances and outdoor routes, bringing selected clips into one investigation.
Surface access exceptions
Correlate supported door events with nearby video at restricted transitions. Planned event rules can notify campus staff and provide context for an access issue.
Coordinate campus teams
Use planned floorplans, incident collaboration, and controlled sharing to give authorized staff a common view of an event.
Manage an evolving estate
Track camera health and permissions across multiple buildings as departments, camera models, and site requirements change.
EXAMPLE WORKFLOW · PLANNED
An incident spans two campus buildings
An example of how the proposed workflow could connect an event, a review, and a useful record.
-
Start at the reported location
Locate the initial recording using the time and building in the report.
-
Connect available views
Review relevant entrances and outdoor routes while clearly noting any gaps in coverage.
-
Coordinate the case
Preserve selected clips in an incident record for the authorized campus team.
START WITH A USEFUL VIEW
The right coverage.
In the right places.
Camera planning priorities to discuss with your dealer or installer.
Building entrances

Keep coverage focused on shared access routes and agreed common spaces, with tightly scoped permissions.
Outdoor routes and venues
Account for seasonal changes, evening events, and long distances between cameras.
YOUR CONNECTED TOOLKIT
The capabilities behind it.
A selection from our roadmap for this industry. Availability and supported configurations will be confirmed as each capability is tested and released.
